The Masters Fantasy Golf Competition is not merely a test of picking prowess — it is a binding social contract with real-world consequences. The following terms govern what happens when the final putt drops at Augusta. Please read carefully. Especially the bit about the beers.
🏆 The Winner
Lowest Total Strokes
The Participant whose combined picks accumulate the fewest strokes across the Tournament.
In golf, low is good. This is that.
😬 The Loser
Highest Total Strokes
The Participant whose combined picks accumulate the most strokes across the Tournament.
This position comes with obligations. Several of them.
✂️ Missed Cuts
+8 Strokes Per Cut
Each golfer who fails to make the cut adds a CUT_PENALTY of +8 strokes to their owner's total.
This penalty may be increased by the Organiser if a golfer makes the cut but plays the weekend with catastrophic indifference.
- 🍽️ Winner's Dinner — Sunday 3rd May: A celebratory dinner shall be held, at which the Winner dines as a guest of the bottom two Participants. The two Losers shall split the cost of the Winner's meal between them. No, there are no exceptions.
- 🍺 Round of Beers: The bottom-placed Participant (the Loser, the one with the highest score, you know who you are) shall additionally purchase a round of drinks for all Participants. This is not optional. This is tradition. This is justice.
- 📋 All other matters are governed by the Official Terms & Conditions, including scoring disputes, dinner menu choices, and the definition of a "reasonable" drinks order.
